Rik Bobbaers serves as a member of the CISO advisory board at Dune Security since January 2024 and has been the Tech CISO at ING Global and Chief Information Security Officer at ING BeLux since November 2019. Rik has previously held roles such as Strategic Advisor for The Regulated Carbon Project, Business Information Security Officer at KBC Bank & Verzekering, and Principal Consultant at BEOSEC. With a strong background in information security, significant achievements include establishing a Cyber Defense Center at ING and promoting agile methodologies within the CISO Office. Rik holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from KU Leuven and various certifications, including ITIL Foundations and IBM Certified Systems Expert for AIX and Linux. Additionally, Rik possesses culinary qualifications as a sommelier and sous-chef.
