Axel-Laurenz Buckinx is a seasoned professional in polymer chemistry with a robust background in product development and research. Currently serving as the Product Development Leader for Cabot’s at DuluxGroup since August 2021, Axel-Laurenz leads paint formulation projects, polymer research, and sustainability initiatives, along with managing patent applications and various analysis techniques. Prior to this role, Axel-Laurenz completed a PhD in Polymer Chemistry at Monash University, where also served as a teaching assistant. Additional experience includes scientific volunteer work at UHasselt and an extern interim position at Securex, along with a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences focused on Bioelectronics and Nanotechnology from UHasselt, and a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences.
