Wendy Wu

Doctoral Student at Duke University

Wendy Wu is a doctoral student at Duke University, pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering since August 2023. Prior to this role, Wendy served as a research assistant in Dr. Feilim MacGabhann's lab at the Institution of Computational Medicine, focusing on COVID-19 research and cytokine interactions. Wendy has held leadership positions including president of the Johns Hopkins chapter of In Transcription and founder and president of the Hopkins Asian Medicine Student Club. Additionally, Wendy has experience as a summer research fellow at the Mayo Clinic and worked as a biotech investment associate. Wendy’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, alongside participation in a summer nanotechnology program at the University of Pennsylvania.
