Ummamah Shah is a graduate teaching assistant specializing in Energy Modeling at Duke University as of August 2024, supporting Dr. Patino-Echeverri. With experience as a Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum since June 2020, Ummamah demonstrates leadership and a commitment to impactful initiatives. Previous roles include Clean Energy Specialist at Con Edison and Climate Corps Fellow at the Environmental Defense Fund in mid-2024. Additionally, Ummamah served as a consultant for Cisco's Sustainable Strategy Client Practicum, focusing on carbon footprint reduction. As the founder and advisor of AWSA IBA, and a project lead for Hmara Kachra Hmari Zimedari, which addresses waste management in Karachi, Ummamah also contributed to grant reviews for The Climate Reality Project. Education includes a Master of Environment Management from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in International Business from the Institute of Business Administration.
