Pranav Gupta

Powertrain Engineer at Duke University Motorsports

Pranav Gupta is a Powertrain Engineer at Duke University Motorsports, responsible for designing and optimizing components such as a custom FSAE venturi-nozzle restrictor and intake manifold. In addition to engineering work, Pranav assists first-year design students as a LabRAT and serves as a teaching assistant for Math 218D2. As a mentor for FIRST Robotics Competition Team 8429 Valence Robotics, Pranav guides high school students in robotics design and manufacturing. Previous experience includes summer research internships at The George Washington University, focusing on deep learning algorithms and autonomous driving simulations, and holding the position of President for FRC Team 611 at Langley Robotics, where success included winning the 2023 Glen Allen district event. Educationally, Pranav is pursuing a degree at Duke University, following graduation from Langley High School.
