Jan Pravda currently serves as the General Manager International at Duke Manufacturing Co., overseeing operations for the EMEA and APAC regions since August 2011, after previously holding the position of Director of Operations for the same regions. Prior to this role, Jan Pravda worked as the Operations Manager and COO at Lloyd Coils Europe and Lloyd Electric and Engineering India, where responsibilities included the production of heat exchangers for HVACR applications. Earlier career experience includes a tenure as Plant Manager for two facilities in China at Luvata Heat Exchanger, where oversight included multiple departments, and a role as Technical & Material Planning Manager. Jan Pravda is also recognized for contributions as a conference speaker on topics such as LEAN manufacturing and factory management in various cities in China. Jan Pravda holds a degree from the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, earned between 1997 and 2002.
