Lawrence Griffiths is an experienced professional in emergency planning and response, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Emergency Planning Regional Lead and Emergency Response Coordinator at Duke Energy Corporation since November 1991, Lawrence has been instrumental in developing emergency response plans and exercises for generation facilities. In addition, Lawrence holds part-time instructional roles at L2 Defense and ATEC, teaching emergency response activities and Hazardous Materials Emergency Response, respectively. Previous positions include Executive Director of Hazardous Materials at Bosley Technical Training and Consulting, where supervision and delivery of hazardous material and OSHA training programs were key responsibilities. Lawrence also served as District Chief and Instructor at Citrus County Fire Rescue, as well as Captain and Paramedic at Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. Lawrence's educational background includes an Associate of Science in Fire Science and an Associate of Science in Emergency Medicine from Hillsborough Community College.
