Eric Smith is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer at Duke Corporate Education since January 2001, Eric manages and enhances global IT infrastructure, leading the migration to cloud-based teamwork tools. Previous roles include IT Specialist, where Eric established a formal IT presence in the London office, and Sr. Software Developer, focusing on online education tools and Java development. Prior to Duke Corporate Education, Eric held positions as Senior Software Developer at Object Technology International and Course Content Expert at Knowledge Systems Corporation, where Eric specialized in object-oriented software design and Smalltalk. Eric holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
