Nicholas Read is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in engineering services and project management. Currently serving as the National Manager of Engineering Services at Ducks Unlimited Canada since April 2022, Nicholas previously held the role of Team Lead for Dam Safety at Tetra Tech from October 2018 to April 2022. Prior to that, Nicholas was an Engineering Manager at WSP in Canada, overseeing the Civil-Hydrotechnical team for the Power division in Central Canada. Earlier experience includes roles as Project Manager and Project Engineer, as well as Design Engineer at Bohler Engineering, focusing on commercial site development and stormwater management. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from McGill University, a Permaculture Design Certification from the Permaculture Institute of Northern California, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western University.
