Dr. Catherine Burke-Greenan is an experienced regulatory affairs professional currently volunteering at Dublin Zoo and Cian’s Kennels, following a career break dedicated to ad-hoc regulatory consultancy work from November 2016 to June 2023. Previously, Dr. Burke-Greenan held various positions at MSD, including Country Operations Regulatory Specialist and Site Regulatory Affairs and Change Control Specialist, overseeing compliance and documentation for active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products. Additional experience includes roles at Acorn Regulatory Consultancy, NIBRT, Novartis, and Trinity College Dublin, where Dr. Burke-Greenan contributed to pharmaceutical production, quality assurance, and education. Dr. Burke-Greenan holds a Bachelor of Science in Honours Chemistry, a Higher Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Production, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
