Neil Thompson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and aviation sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at Dubai Aerospace Enterprise since August 2016, Neil has previously held positions including Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at the same organization. Prior to this, Neil worked as Senior Legal Counsel for Commercial & Financing at Airbus from October 2013 to August 2016 and as a Senior Associate at Vedder Price from December 2012 to September 2013. Neil's legal career began at Airbus in March 2008 as Legal Counsel focused on Commercial & Financing matters, and earlier experience includes being a Solicitor specializing in Aviation & Finance at Clyde & Co from September 2002 to March 2008. Educational foundations were established at the University of Oxford, where Neil earned a BA in Classics from 1996, after completing studies at Merchant Taylors' School between 1985 and 1992.
