Rasmus Larsen is a prominent academic and leader in the field of image analysis and computer graphics, currently serving as Prorektor, Executive Vice President, and Provost at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since 2000. As a Professor at DTU Informatics, Rasmus oversees over 100 PhD students and leads a section with 12 faculty and 30 younger researchers. Rasmus also holds positions as an Associate Professor at Norges forskningsråd, a board member at Danmarks Tekniske Museum and MADE - Manufacturing Academy of Denmark, and serves on various advisory boards and councils. Rasmus' educational background includes a PhD in statistics and image analysis from DTU, as well as a high school exam focused on mathematics and physics from Aalborg Katedralskole.
