Lee Payne is a seasoned architect and planner with extensive experience in the field of architecture. Currently serving as Partner and Director of Architecture at DTJ DESIGN, Inc. since February 2014, Lee has held various roles within the company, including Associate Principal and Senior Architect & Planner. Prior to this, Lee owned idea studio, LLC, an architecture and planning firm, from November 2008 to October 2021. Lee also contributed as a Senior Architect at DTJ DESIGN, Inc. from September 2000 to November 2008 and gained foundational experience as an Intern Architect at JH Partners, Inc. and as an Architectural Intern at 2WR/HolmesWilkins Architects. Lee holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Cum Laude, from Auburn University, completed in 1996.
