Peter Watkin has extensive experience in the field of nuclear quality assurance and inspection, currently serving as a Nuclear Quality Assurance Lead Auditor at DTE Energy since September 2013. Prior roles include various positions at Southern California Edison from 1989 to 2013, including Vendor Oversight and Quality Engineering roles, and a Quality Control Inspector Level II in the Nuclear Oversight Division. Additional experience includes Quality Control Inspector Level II at Mobile Inspection Service, Inc., and Commercial Diver/Inspector Level II at Taylor Diving & Salvage. Peter Watkin is qualified as an ASNT Level II Inspector and holds a certificate in Marine Technology. Educational background includes studies at Palomar College, the College of Oceaneering, and the University of Maryland.
