Phil Cox is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management and business improvement within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as the Regional Chief Operating Officer at DSI Underground (APAC) since September 2022, Phil previously held the position of Operations Manager within the same company from February 2013 to January 2019. Prior to this, Phil managed operations at Dywidag Systems International in Newcastle and worked as a Senior Asset Services Engineer at Aurecon, focusing on asset management services. Phil's background also includes significant roles at Hydro Aluminium Kurri Kurri, where leadership in business improvement initiatives and the implementation of the Toyota Production System were key responsibilities. Phil holds a Graduate Certificate in Competitive Manufacturing from Swinburne University of Technology and has two certificates from TAFE NSW in Electrical Engineering and Frontline Management.
