Jacob Westjohn currently serves as a Policy Analyst Intern at the Drug Policy Alliance and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center on Poverty and Social Policy at Columbia University. In a research consultant role at Luminosa Research, Jacob assists in developing a Strategic Theory of Change for Texas Mutual Insurance Company. Previously, Jacob was a Project Coordinator at CHILDREN AT RISK, managing logistics for grant-funded projects and co-authoring a widely downloaded Legislative Session Report. As Lead Campaign Manager for Texans For Prop 2, organizing a statewide campaign that contributed to the successful passage of Proposition 2, Jacob later engaged in implementation efforts across multiple cities. Jacob's earlier experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at Texas State University and a Legislative Assistant in the Texas House of Representatives. Jacob holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Social Work from Texas State University.
