Edward Wu is the Founder and CEO of Dropzone AI, where a platform provides pre-trained autonomous AI security agents to assist human analysts in security operations. Prior to this role, Edward served as Senior Principal Scientist at ExtraHop Networks, overseeing the development of AI/ML capabilities and infrastructure. With a strong background in malware detection from positions at the University of Washington, Intel Labs, Qualcomm, and UC Berkeley, Edward has been involved in various research and development projects focusing on security and privacy. Edward holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
