Itamar Apel is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software and data architecture. Currently serving as SVP Solution Architect at Dropit since November 2024, Itamar previously held various leadership roles at BigID from June 2016 to October 2024, including Director of Software and Data Architecture, where responsibility encompassed architectural design and the guidance of development processes in high-performance data systems. Notable earlier positions include Software Development Manager at the Israel P.M.O IT Division, managing BI and Big Data projects, and various development roles in telecommunications and GIS. Itamar Apel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, earned between 2005 and 2008.
