Kevin Forbes has been working in the creative and marketing industries since 2008. In 2008, they were a Communications Coordinator for CampusAuctionMarket.com, where they co-managed a project to increase site traffic over a charity event. Kevin then went on to work as an Assistant Manager Intern for Internal Communications at Walmart in 2009, where they analyzed and summarized current internal communication practices and proposed changes to communication standards. In 2011, they joined Insignia Software Corporation as an Account Executive and Design Specialist, where they were responsible for coordinating and creating content for Insignia's online presence and other marketing strategies. In 2015, they joined Drivewyze as the Creative Services Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing, producing, and supporting high quality design, consistent branding, and marketing activities across a wide range of marketing channels. Kevin was later promoted to Manager, Marketing and User Experience Design, and then to Marketing and Design Specialist, where they worked with a small team to create powerful messaging tailored for diverse markets and users.
Kevin Forbes graduated from the University of Alberta in 2011 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Finance. During the same year, they also completed coursework at a school in Cortona as part of the University of Alberta Extension program, studying Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
