Yavuz Barkin has extensive work experience, beginning in 1992 as Special Sales Manager for Borusan Otomotiv. In 2010, they became a Partner at YBB Gıda A.Ş. with Lavazza Best Coffee Shops. In 2011, they became the Founder of YBB OTO A.Ş. and Franchise Owner of Sixt rent a car. Finally, in 2012, they became the Co-founder and managing partner of YOYO Car Sharing LLC.

Yavuz Barkin attended Istanbul Erkek Lisesi from 1980 to 1987 and Boğaziçi University from 1987 to 1992.
