Glenn Wasserman has extensive experience in the finance and real estate industries. Glenn is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Driftwood Capital, a real estate investment, development, and lending platform specializing in hospitality properties. In this role, Wasserman oversees the management of four closed-end evergreen funds and is responsible for securing over $1 billion of commercial assets.
Prior to their current position, Wasserman served as the Chief Operating Officer for GFI Capital Resources Group, Inc., where they managed a diversified portfolio of assets, including hotels, multi-family, and retail properties. Glenn also played a key role in the development of properties in various locations across the United States.
Before joining GFI Capital, Wasserman worked as the Chief Financial Officer for Denihan Hospitality Group, an independent owner and operator of boutique and independent hotels. During their tenure, they oversaw the financial operations of the company and contributed to its growth and success in urban markets such as New York, Chicago, and West Hollywood.
Wasserman also gained valuable experience at RXR Realty, where they directed capital markets, strategic planning, and capital raising activities. Glenn successfully managed a significant portfolio of Class A office properties and was involved in various development projects.
Prior to their role at RXR Realty, Wasserman held strategic planning positions at Reckson Associates Realty and worked as an Associate in Investment Banking at Bear Stearns & Co.
Wasserman began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Manager in the Management Consulting Practice. During this time, they consulted for notable clients such as American Express, MetLife, Walt Disney, Warner Lambert, and Johnson & Johnson, focusing on projects related to supply chain management and document management systems.
With their extensive background in finance and real estate, Glenn Wasserman brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role as CFO and COO.
Glenn Wasserman, CFO and COO, holds an MBA degree in Finance & Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a BS degree in Management Information Systems from the University at Albany, SUNY, between 1989 and 1993.
