Willem Hazenberg holds an MBA and various engineering degrees, with extensive experience in energy transition and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Bilfinger since April 2019, Willem actively contributes to hydrogen and geothermal projects in the Netherlands. In parallel, Willem is the Practor Waterstof in de Industrie at Drenthe College, focusing on the application of hydrogen in industrial environments. As the Chair of the Groningse Ingenieursvereniging since December 2013, Willem has been involved since 2010. Willem also holds a board position at Stichting Vrienden Groningen Airport Eelde and serves as an Ingenieurscoach at the Royal Netherlands Society of Engineers.
