Jeremy Mcleavey is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong focus on design and compliance in the amusement and entertainment industry. Currently serving as a Working Group Committee Member for ME-051 Amusement Rides and Devices at Standards Australia since February 2024, Jeremy emphasizes safe design and operations in compliance with industry standards. Jeremy has held significant roles at Dreamworld and SkyPoint as Continued Compliance and Reliability Engineering Manager since June 2021, and previously worked at Village Roadshow Theme Parks as a Mechanical Engineer. Earlier career experience includes a Graduate Mechanical Engineer position at Cascade Corporation and an internship at Coca-Cola Amatil, where Jeremy assessed machinery efficiency. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Griffith University, completed in 2017.
