Luis Diaz currently serves as the Dean of Culture at DREAM, focusing on grades 9-12 with responsibilities that include planning community meetings, supporting MTSS, providing professional development, and conducting classroom observations. Previously, Luis held the positions of Head of Discipline and Culture Support and Dean of Students at Equality Charter School, where efforts centered on improving student outcomes and developing behavioral interventions. Additional experience includes roles as a Defensive Coordinator at Christopher Columbus Campus, Correctional Counselor with the NYC Department of Correction, and Youth Development Counselor at Mott Hall Bronx High School, emphasizing rehabilitation and support for students and inmates. Luis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from John Jay College, a Master of Science in Education from Fordham University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education at the University of Miami.
