Alison Browne is an experienced educator currently serving as the East Harlem Middle School Principal at DREAM, where tenure began in June 2015. Previous roles at DREAM include Principal in Residence, Academic Dean, and Middle School Social Studies Teacher. Prior experience includes positions as a 9th Grade World Geography & Civics Teacher at Maynard Jackson High School and a Corps Member with Teach For America. Alison also worked as a tutor at Aristotle Circle and served as a Lead Program Intern and Head Math and Verbal Coach with Project Sunshine and Let's Get Ready, respectively. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Emory University and a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching in Social Studies from Georgia State University.
