Nick Sullivan is a Senior Data Engineer at Drax Group since July 2022, focusing on diverse projects involving streaming pipelines and generative AI deployment using AWS and Spark/Databricks. Prior to this role, Nick served in multiple capacities including Head of BI and Data Engineering, Senior Data Engineer, and Data Engineer at UK Flooring Direct from July 2019 to July 2022, leading the design and implementation of a cloud-based data solution utilizing technologies such as SQL, Python, and Apache Spark. Nick's career began at Central England Co-operative, where roles included Business Intelligence Data Modeller, Business Intelligence Analyst, Retail Analyst, and Store Manager from 2013 to July 2019. Nick holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Leicester, earned between 2002 and 2005.
