Tyler Webb has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2022. Tyler started their career as a Range Technician at the Bureau of Land Management, specializing in wildland firefighting. After working there for four years, they founded their own company called Nightside Security, where they served as the Founder for five years. In 2018, Tyler joined Puget Sound Energy as a Senior IT Security Analyst in the Cyber Defense Center and later transitioned to the role of Advisor IT Security Analyst in Cyber Risk Management. In 2022, they joined Dragos, Inc. as a Senior Industrial Pentester II and quickly advanced to the position of Principal Industrial Pentester.

Tyler Webb graduated from Willamette University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Philosophy and Economics. In terms of additional certifications, Tyler obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) in 2018, the GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GCISP) and GIAC Advisory Board in August 2021, the GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN) in 2022, and the GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) from GIAC Certifications in September 2023. Tyler also received the Dragos Platform Certified User certification from Dragos, Inc. in 2023.
