Ann Cheung has a diverse work experience in various scientific and research roles. Ann started their career as a Graduate Student and later became a Postdoctoral Scientist at MIT from September 2002 to August 2009. Ann then joined the California Institute of Technology as a Postdoctoral Scholar from October 2009 to May 2011. Following that, they worked as a Scientific Editor at Cancer Cell, Cell Press, Elsevier Inc. from May 2011 to November 2014. Ann also served as a Collaborative Programs Manager at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT from December 2014 to January 2016.
Since 2015, Ann has been employed at Dragonfly Therapeutics, Inc. Ann started as a Director of Research from November 2015 to May 2017 and was later promoted to the role of Head of Biology from May 2017 to July 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Research at the company.
Ann Cheung completed their undergraduate education in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Brown University from 1998 to 2002, earning a degree of Sc.B. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2002 to 2009. At MIT, they obtained a Ph.D. in Biology.
