Dr. Hermann Kollmar is an experienced data protection consultant currently working at regenold GmbH since October 2022, where expert advice and support are provided for data protection compliance under EU GDPR, German, and Swiss regulations. Prior to this, Dr. Kollmar served as Data Protection Officer for various Medgate entities from October 2006 to November 2021, focusing on compliance concepts, eHealth product management, and telebiometry system implementation. Earlier roles include project management in health informatics at University Hospital Heidelberg, research projects in collaboration with notable institutions, and academic contributions at FernUniversität in Hagen and SRH Hochschule Heidelberg. Dr. Kollmar holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and a diploma in Informatics and Electrical Engineering from FernUniversität in Hagen.
