Vikas Rai currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant (PhD Scholar) and NSICARIF Fellow at Michigan State University, starting in January 2024, and holds a position as an Assistant Professor cum Scientist at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University since February 2019, specializing in Soil Physics, Remote Sensing, and GIS. Vikas Rai is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological/Biosystems Engineering at Michigan State University, having previously earned a Master of Science in Agricultural Physics from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute and a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from Banaras Hindu University. Education also includes completion of Higher Secondary (Intermediate) in PCB from Central Hindu Boys School.
