Sara York serves as the Senior Education Manager at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts since July 2018, overseeing educational programming and community engagement initiatives while managing key programs such as the Applause Awards and Disney Musicals in Schools. Previously, Sara held roles in education and outreach at The University of Alabama, Teach For America as a Recruitment Associate, and as an Early Childhood Education Teacher recognized for outstanding student evaluations. Additionally, Sara has experience as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Central Florida and holds a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Event Management from the same institution.
