David Smitten is a seasoned professional in the field of graphic design and retail design, currently serving as the Global Retail Design Lead at Dr. Martens plc since August 2021. With a comprehensive background that includes self-employment as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator from 2011 to March 2022, Smitten has developed expertise across various creative industries. Previous roles include Digital Project Manager at Sechelle Manufacturing Limited and Middleweight Graphic Designer at The Yard Creative. Smitten has a strong foundation in brand development and design for retail environments, having worked with TOPSHOP TOPMAN and Sechelle Manufacturing Ltd, alongside collaborative experience with Puck Collective. Smitten holds a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts from Buckinghamshire New University and a BND in Graphic Design with distinction from South Essex College.
