David Salazar is a talent agent and international department head at DPN Talent. David has over 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry, working in management, brand marketing, and retail strategies.
David began their career in 2010 as a retail strategist with Vivendi Entertainment. In this role, they were responsible for conducting post-analysis on promotions and assisting with the operation of creative builds. David also conducted competitive research to help the team develop strategies for marketing DVDs.
In 2011, David took on a brand marketing role with Universal Music Group. In this role, they provided support to the DVD Retail Strategies team, brainstormed promotional ideas, and assisted with the development of marketing plans.
In 2012, David became a management trainee with Station 3. In this role, they handled receptionist duties, such as answering phones and taking messages, as well as administrative duties, such as inventory management and package assembly. David also supported the production team by taping clients for auditions, sitting in on production meetings, and editing client reels.
In their current role as talent agent and international department head at DPN Talent, David is responsible for representing clients and negotiating deals with international distributors. David also oversees the company's global strategy, including the development of new markets and the expansion of existing markets.
