MaryEllen Gucciardi has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Humber SWAC Teacher and Academic Consultant focusing on First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Education at the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board since February 2008. In addition, MaryEllen has been a Council Member of the Ontario College of Teachers since September 2017. Academic qualifications include a Certificate in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of Waterloo - Conrad Grebel University College, a Master of Science in Education from Niagara University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Communications from Seneca Polytechnic, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Mass Communications from York University.
