Christian Catalan began their work experience as a Product Development Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices in 2007. There, they gained expertise in failure analysis and yield enhancement for pre-production CPUs/GPUs. Christian then worked as a Student Developer at MakerSquare, where they focused on computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and software development using frameworks such as Rails. After completing their studies, they joined Rapid7 as a Software Engineer, specializing in Metasploit UI development. At Rapid7, Christian enhanced the Rails backend and built new features using a Backbone/Marionette architecture. Following this role, they joined PhishMe, Inc. as a Sr. UI Developer. In this position, they helped build a single-page app in Vue, optimized front-end asset payload, and developed features on a legacy jquery/rails application. Currently, Christian is a Software Engineer at Doximity, where they continue to refine their skills in software development.
