Rhonda S. is an experienced professional in organizational equity, community engagement, and major gifts fundraising. Currently serving as the Director for Organizational Equity & Inclusion at the Downtown Emergency Service Center since June 2021, Rhonda previously held key roles at Childhaven, including Director of Corporate Relations & Community Engagement and Director of Campaign and Major Gifts. Rhonda has a strong background in frontline fundraising as Associate Director for Major Gifts at the University of Washington. Early career experiences include roles in real estate, home staging, and sports commentary as a professional athlete and color analyst. Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies and various certifications in fundraising management and diversity and inclusion from esteemed institutions, including Cornell University.
