Steven Clarke has a diverse range of experience in various roles and industries. Steven started their work experience in 2013 as an independent consultant to growth technology businesses at Ellmorsa. In this role, they supported growing businesses and entrepreneurs with fundraisings, growth strategies, and equity value realization. Steven also had interests in technology, business services, sports, advanced engineering, and investment company opportunities.
In 2014, Steven became a Non-Executive Director at Planixs, a fast-growing fintech business specializing in real-time treasury software. Steven held this position until an unspecified date.
From 2016 onwards, they served as a board advisor for Ishka: Aviation Finance, providing insights and guidance to the organization.
In 2017, Steven joined the Loughborough University School of Business and Economics as an Advisory Board Member. In this role, they provided strategic and financial advice, facilitated commercial links, and acted as an ambassador for the school.
Starting in 2019, Steven took on multiple roles including Non-Executive Chair at QV Systems, Chair of the Investment Committee at Bethnal Green Ventures, and Non-Executive Director at InvestCloud, Inc. In each of these roles, they contributed to the growth and development of these organizations in various sectors such as automotive and asset finance, tech for good ventures, and global wealth technology.
More recently, in 2021, Steven became a Non-Executive Director at Downing FOUR VCT and an Advisor to Founders at InvestCloud, Inc. These positions allowed him to assist with fundraising efforts and provide support in the technology and healthcare sectors.
Lastly, Steven Clarke was also a board advisor for Chanzo from 2013 until September 2021. Chanzo specializes in organization design, operational delivery consulting, and recruitment process outsourcing for major events and corporate clients.
Throughout their work experience, Steven Clarke has demonstrated a wide range of knowledge and skills in fundraising, strategy development, governance, and industry-specific expertise.
Steven Clarke completed an Executive Education program at Cambridge Judge Business School in 2021. The program focused on Business Analytics: Decision Making Using Data. Prior to that, Steven obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) Honors degree in Management Science from Loughborough University, which they attended from 1987 to 1991.
