Matt Timmerberg is a skilled management professional with experience in public administration and safety analysis. Currently serving as a Management Analyst for the Village of Downers Grove, Illinois since August 2021, Matt has previously worked as a Public Safety Analyst for the Village of Winnetka, where responsibilities included providing administrative support to fire department leadership and managing financial functions. Matt also held a Management Intern position with the Village of Lake Zurich, contributing to policy development and communications in the Village Manager's office. Earlier experience includes serving as a College Access Specialist with AmeriCorps and seasonal roles with the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and UPS. Matt earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Business from Knox College.
