Mary Kate Guy currently serves as the Deputy Village Clerk for the Village of Downers Grove, Illinois, since January 2024. Previously, Mary Kate worked as an Executive Assistant for the City of Wood Dale, where responsibilities included creating reports and coordinating community events. Mary Kate also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association, where research data was gathered and presented at conferences. Additional roles included Conference Assistant and Administrative Assistant at the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association, Resident Assistant and Student Ambassador at Carthage College, and an intern at Racine Vocational Ministry. Mary Kate earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Carthage College in 2022.
