Ben McQueen is an experienced professional in the power generation and utilities sector, currently serving as Regional Manager for NSW Power Generation at Downer since September 2022, overseeing operations and maintenance services for clients. Prior to this role, Ben held the position of Engineering Director within Downer's Australian utilities business, focusing on power, water, and industrial infrastructure. Ben's previous experience includes key leadership roles at WSP in Australia, where responsibilities spanned from Director of Energy to Section Executive for Power and Energy in New South Wales, along with significant positions at Beca and Parsons Brinckerhoff, managing power engineering teams and projects. Ben began a career in research at Industrial Research Ltd, concentrating on new energy technologies. An alumnus of the University of Canterbury, Ben holds a degree in Electrical Engineering.
