John A. Blythe is a seasoned visual artist and educator with extensive experience in photography, currently serving as a Visual Artist since September 2014 and a Teacher of Photography at d'Overbroeck's College Oxford since August 2017. Blythe has a background in commercial photography, having worked with notable clients such as KFC and McDonald's from 1994 to 2016. Noteworthy roles include Artist in Residence at the University of Derby, where exploration of rare photographic materials took place, and Module Leader of Foundation Photography at Bellerbys College Oxford. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Art from Oxford Brookes University and a PGDip in Art Teacher Education from the same institution. Blythe's artistic focus lies in creating abstract yet familiar imagery.
