Shawn Cook is an experienced technical manager in the plastics additives sector, currently serving at Dover Chemical Corp since January 2021. Prior roles include Director of Technology at Mayzo, Inc. from April 2019 to August 2020, and Technical Manager at Barbe America from January 2007 to April 2019, where responsibilities included new product implementation, raw material development, technology advancement, QC laboratory management, customer technical support, and regulatory coordination. Shawn Cook began a career as a Process Development Chemist at Ciba Specialty Chemicals from March 1997 to December 2006. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from The University of Memphis and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a minor in Applied Mathematics from Old Dominion University.
