Chiquita Pounds is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in educational support and community service. Currently serving as a Special Education Paraprofessional at the Douglas County School System since August 2017, Chiquita engages students in instructional activities and participates in professional development. Previously, Chiquita worked at First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville from June 2007 to October 2017 as a Nursery Worker, fostering youth relationships within the Christian community. Additionally, Chiquita was a Shelter Advocate at the YWCA of Northwest Georgia for a brief period in 2016, providing crisis support and information. Chiquita holds a Master of Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute and both a Bachelor and Associate degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Strayer University.
