Georgette Ledgister, PhD, has a diverse work experience. Georgette is currently serving as the Vice President of DEIB & People Experience at DoubleVerify since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Universal Music Group from March 2022 to January 2023. Georgette also held the position of Senior Director - Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Universal Music Group from February 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining the corporate sector, Georgette worked as a Research Associate and Visiting Instructor at Harvard Divinity School from August 2020 to November 2021. Georgette was also a Visiting Research Fellow at Harvard University's Weatherhead Center for International Affairs from August 2020 to May 2021.

Georgette has an extensive background in academia as well. Georgette completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Religion at Emory University in May 2018, with a focus on the intersection of conflict, gender, and religion. Their research on Mai-Mai women warriors in the Democratic Republic of Congo received the 2018 John Fenton Prize for the best research in comparative religions.

In addition, Georgette has previous experience as the Chief Executive and Lead Consultant at Dr. Jojo, LLC from August 2009 to February 2021. Georgette also served as the Executive Director and Lead Researcher/Animator at Fearless Dialogues from May 2018 to August 2020, and from August 2014 to August 2020 respectively.

Furthermore, Georgette worked as a Program Coordinator at Emory University's Institute for Developing Nations from October 2011 to May 2012.

Later, they pursued a Master's of Divinity degree specializing in Religion, Violence & Peacebuilding between 2007 and 2010. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Ethics from 2013 to 2018.
