Thomas Malaniak is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network engineering and support. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at Dorchester School District 2 since July 2023, Thomas previously worked at Trident Technical College from November 2011 to June 2023 as an Information Resource Consultant III, where responsibilities included maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco Wireless Networks. Prior leadership roles included President and Vice President of AITP-Charleston from January 2014 to September 2017. Earlier experience also includes providing help desk support at Secure Mission Solutions and serving as a Helpdesk/Network Technician at Trident Technical College. Additionally, Thomas has a decade-long background in criminal justice as a Probation Officer with the State of New Jersey. Thomas holds an Associate's degree in Network Systems Management from Trident Technical College and a BS in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University - Newark.
