Lucas Hood is a skilled data scientist and food technician with extensive experience in the brewing and fermentation industries. Currently employed at Meati since January 2023, Lucas has also held positions at Meati Foods since March 2021 and served as a fermentation specialist at Molson Coors Beverage Company in 2020. Prior experience includes significant roles at New Belgium Brewing as Brewer II, where responsibilities included operating yeast cellaring processes and managing large-scale production, as well as Brewer at Two Brothers Brewing Company, where Lucas made notable improvements in packaging efficiency. Education includes a Master of Science in Food Science and Management from Washington State University, complemented by a concise brewing technology course from the Siebel Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Administration from Southern Illinois University.
