Gerard Smink currently serves as a Taxateur NIVRE-Register Expert at Donatus Verzekeringen since January 2020 and is the founder of Vectori.nl, an online small furniture store, established in April 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a Junior vastgoed medewerker at KONDAR from February 2019 to January 2020 and conducting practice research on repurposing at Reinwardt Academy, attached to Amsterdam University of the Arts, from September 2017 to February 2018. Gerard Smink previously played football at AGOVV Apeldoorn from August 2012 to June 2013. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage from Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (2013-2018) and a Havo diploma from Candea College (2006-2012). Early education was completed at Basisschool de Brug (1998-2006).
