John Swailes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering within the nuclear industry. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Dominion Energy since January 2021, John is involved in replacing controls, protection systems, and instrumentation at Surry Station. As the Owner of Mystique Enterprises since January 2010, John provides contracting services to the commercial nuclear industry and federal government contractors. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager at Entergy, Chief Engineer and Manager of Engineering at High Bridge Associates, and Deputy Manager of Engineering for the Nuclear Waste Partnership under the US DOE. John's leadership has been pivotal in significant projects including the construction of a major nuclear facility and the decommissioning of the West Valley Demonstration Project. Education includes a Master's in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy.
