Kamini Magon is a Senior Scientist at Domainex since August 2022, following a progression from Scientist. Prior to this role, Kamini was a PhD student at the University of Birmingham from September 2018 to December 2022, focusing on the manipulation of host cell lipid metabolic processes by high-risk human papillomaviruses (HPV). Additional experience includes serving as a postgraduate demonstrator at the University of Birmingham, an MRes student at The University of Sheffield studying chemoresistance in high-grade serous ovarian cancer, and a BSc student at Aberystwyth University examining chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Earlier work experience includes a research technician role at King's College London and a pharmacy assistant position at Medway Pharmacy. Kamini holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Virology from the University of Birmingham, an MSc in Translational Oncology from The University of Sheffield, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Aberystwyth University.
