Dan Darcy is a Senior Staff Scientist at Dolby Laboratories in the Office of the CTO, a position held since August 2013. Prior to this role, Dan served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, from September 2008 to August 2013, and completed a PhD in Neuroscience under the UC San Diego Neurosciences Graduate Program from September 2003 to December 2007. Dan began their career in research as a Technical Manager at the Biological Imaging Center at the California Institute of Technology from January 2002 to July 2003. Dan holds a BA in Neuroscience from Pomona College, obtained in 2000, and a minor concentration in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College, also completed in 2000.
